The AO brand of Handmade Soaps, and other exclusive handmade products, contain NO genetically modified oils (GMO). So please buy with confidence, you are not supporting the "engineered food industry".

I add no Parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate (or similar), unnatural preservatives, or petroleum products to my unique soaps.

Certified sustainable palm oil (CSPO) is palm oil that has been grown on a plantation that has been managed and certified according to the principles and criteria of the Round table on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). This means the plantation was established on land that did not contain significant biodiversity, wildlife habitat or other environmental values, and meets the highest environmental, social and economic standards as set out by the RSPO.

Pure soap made of olive oil is very mild; it is durable and can be used on any skin type to aid with retaining moisture and elasticity. Taking advantage of the natural moisturising properties of olive oil, the soap soothes and nourishes the skin. So history teaches us that olive oil can be used at home for various beauty treatments. And still history repeats itself because every Greek can tell you a very quick homemade remedy to exfoliate rough hands by rubbing some olive oil in your hands and then add some sugar and massage your hands softly. The natural combination of honey, olive oil and beeswax can provide a real benefit to people suffering from eczema and psoriasis. Olive oil can also improve the appearance of acne scars. Massage olive oil soaps over scarred skin.

Most soap have close to a 100% organic ingredients while some have 100% and are perfect for those with allergies and super chemical sensitive’s. These are ideal soaps for all skin types particularly those prone to skin conditions and scaring.

Here's how olive oil soap benefits your skin

  • Olive oil soap softens and smooths your skin and is great for dry, sore, inflamed and sensitive skin because olive oil is a amazing emollient, it soothes the skin beautifully.
  • Olive oil is great for relieving the symptoms of skin diseases like eczema, scaring, acne, skin ailments, dryness and psoriasis.
  • Olive oil will not clog your pores because it is non-greasy making it great for people who suffer from oily or Acne prone skins.
  • Olive oil contains squalene and squalane. Squalene is naturally produced by the sebum glands in the skin. The squalene and squalane work together to help prevent the skin's natural oils from oxidizing which could lead to cell deterioration.
  • Hydroxytyrosol gives olive oil anti-inflammatory properties which research shows is good for healing skin abrasions, rashes and sunburn. The hydroxytyrosol also has antimicrobial properties.
"Allergy Warning: Some soaps contain Shea Butter (from shea nuts)." Please check if you have concerns.
