As someone who came to the United States from the UK, I hold a deep respect for American traditions and the spirit of July 4th. This holiday reminds me of freedom, opportunity, courage, and the kindness of a country that has welcomed me as I worked hard to build a life here.
Leaving my beloved home country was not a choice I made lightly. It came from necessity, after facing a severe, life-threatening health condition. To still be here today feels utterly monumental, and I am grateful for each day I am given. My journey has taught me resilience, humility, and a deeper appreciation for the kindness and opportunity I have found in the USA.
I am also praying that I may once again come under the expert care of my Stanford specialist team, whose knowledge and support mean so much to my continued wellbeing. In the meantime, I pour that same care, intention, and gratitude into everything I create for you.
