Medicated Herbal Vinegars. The Alternative Tinctures.
Non Alcoholic Tincture Remedies for Health and Healing.

Herbal medicated vinegar (non alcoholic Tinctures)  are just bursting with super nutritional content that may help to prevent and even reverse many ailments. Apple cider vinegar promotes health and well-being with enough documented evidence to prove such. When you infuse herbs in vinegar for long periods of time, you get a saturated version of pooling minerals from the herb that normally you would miss out on. Now, these are not the culinary vinegars with a few sprigs of herbs, perish the thought. These are herbal infused vinegars that are made with a jar filled full of specific herb and vinegar which are usually allowed to infuse for 6 weeks or more and used for medicinal purposed other than just a taste addition. Amber's Organics is known to be the exception of the average rule and I create everything a little more unusually.  My Vinegars are notorious for being a little bit more potent that the average Medicated Vinegar on the market with a little more zest. I have ancient and traditional methods combined with a twist of todays upbeat study, it makes for a very fine Vinegar result.

The way vinegar benefits our health is that it pulls vitamins and minerals out of the herbs and other vegetables like greens and broccoli, so your body can utilize it more easily. In fact, when you splash a tablespoon of vinegar on your greens, the calcium is increased by one-third! One tablespoon of vinegar has the same amount of calcium as a glass of milk. So you can take a daily dose of vinegar as a bone builder, now how fab it that!

Apple cider vinegar improves blood pressure, prevents and reverses osteoporosis, normalizes thyroid, improves digestion and gets rid of gray hair and wrinkles. When you infuse the herb in the vinegar you get all the minerals of that herb ready to assimilate in your diet. In fact, when you use herbal vinegars every day, you will no longer need to take vitamin and mineral supplements, which can be difficult to assimilate and extremely irritating for the delicate stomach lining.

Common herbs used to infuse vinegar are burdock, catnip, chicory, dandelion, dill, fennel, garlic, ginger, lavender, mugwort, peppermint, rosemary, spearmint, thyme and yarrow, but there is no end, if it is good for you, it can be infused. (Please use common sense and wisdom here, please)

To use these herbal vinegars you can add them to soups, beans, grains, salad dressings, vegetables, sliced cucumbers, potato salad, greens, tomato sauce and stir fry dishes. You can also marinate meat and fish in herbal vinegars or just sprinkle some on the meat while it is cooking or grilling. Just use herbal vinegar in any recipe you would use your ordinary vinegar. It is also possibly to take these in drinks and just as they are, so there is no excuse to miss your daily vinegar dose.

In fact, in North America during colonial times, sipping vinegars were commonly used as both medicines and a way to preserve fruits and herbs in a deliciously consumable infusion.  I offer you one of my most revered herbs at this time as my tester taster, so let me know what you think.  Holy basil or Tulsi has been used in various cultures for generations as a healing medicinal herb and is used significantly in Ayurvedic medicine. Organic Hibiscus "Take Heart" Medicated Vinegar.

I have long admired hibiscus flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa) for their exotic beauty. A tart and tasty brew comes from the seedpods of the tropical variety known as ‘roselle’. After the petals have fallen, the seedpod develops within a fleshy red calyx from the flower’s base. These red pods are rich in vitamin C, calcium, niacin, riboflavin and iron, and also in certain anthocyanins whose antioxidant strength rivals that of quercetin and vitamin E. Hibiscus extracts have long been used to lower blood pressure in individuals with mild hypertension. Hibiscus relaxes the walls of blood vessels and acts as a diuretic, but unlike most diuretic drugs, it does not deplete the body of potassium.
